Mealie Cake
Ingredients
- 150 g Soft butter
- ½ cup Sugar
- 3 Eggs
- 5 ml Vanilla essence
- 3 cups Grated fresh Mealies
- ½ cup Flour
- 3 tsp Baking powder
Instructions
- Cream butter and sugar until pale in colour.
- Add eggs one at a time.Beat well after each addition.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.
- Grease cake tin and pour the batter into it.
- Bake on 160C for 45-50 till golden brown.
